Early Feedback
Pilot Walkthroughs
The first few months on the project I was working under another designer before they took another opportunity and I became the lead designer. During this time, the initial user testing consisted of several remote sessions with the advanced user group (McKinsey & Company).
As our power users, they will be using all aspects of the tool. In order to make sure that our more common user group is also able to get the most out of the new analytics tool, we conducted user tests with a few customers remotely while watching them interact with the tool via video conferencing.

What is iBridge
iBridge helps with insurance verification and provides more insight into patient benefit information. Preauthorization helps ensure that all parties (clinics, insurance companies, and patients) are properly informed prior to a procedure.
When you know what is covered and your patient knows what they must pay – payment arrangements significantly increase revenue.
Project Goal
The first phase of the project was to update the visual design and create a branding style guide. However, after diving into the experience it became apparent that there was room for improvement of the user experience as well.

The Current Experience
The current experience is difficult to navigate and processing cases is a "free-for-all" like experience where any person can take any case, at any point.
Pain Points
-
Several clicks required to move between different cases
-
Finding cases that have not been worked on
-
Locating cases takes several search parameters
-
Completing the case in the response window

Common Trends for Dashboards
There are several competitors in the photo book space, especially for iOS. Kodak is looking to play in the space but also to find a competitive edge by bringing in the feature of the Smart Picker into play which only a handful of competitors have.
Initial Sketches
Began sketching based on my observations.
After Delivery to Development
Once the files were handed off and development had started, I began to track change requests to help the team fine-tune the product.
