Infinx iBridge

Healthcare Portal

Project Overview

iBridge ensures insurance verification and provides insight into patient benefit information. Preauthorization helps ensure that all parties (clinics, insurance companies, patients) are properly informed prior to a procedure. When you know what is covered and your patient knows what they must pay – payment arrangements significantly increase revenue.

Where We Started

Original iBridge queue: Dashboard View (on the left), Queue List (center), Form View (on the right)

Who are the Users

  • Client Healthcare Provider

  • Infinx Manager

  • Infinx Case Worker

Pain Points

  • Takes several clicks to move between cases

  • "Free-for-all" - case workers can pick any case, however, they may miss the most immediate case that has a looming deadline

  • Unorganized lists with no clear indication of case status

Understanding the Current Flow

It was important to keep in mind the team's request to keep a similar structure to the flow that was already in place. Understanding how a case is started, the process for completing a case, the status that a case is given at each step, and how a case is completed.

Existing screens and taking time to understand the current flow

Finding Inspiration

There are several examples of well-designed dashboards not only on design inspirational sources such as Pinterest, MaterialUp, Dribbble but also looking at companies that have dashboards such as Asana, Salesforce, and many more.

Iterations for Dashboard

Several iterations were created to explore the dashboard, forms, search, icons, and much more.

Final Deliverables

Final handoff included an InVision prototype to show flow and interactions, Zeplin Files with assets, and a checklist of points that needed polish after development began.

After Delivery, Working with Development

Once the files were handed off and development had started, I began to track change requests to help the team fine-tune the product.
